
Eija Lehtonen is a researcher at the University of Tampere and works as a lead facilitator, simulation developer and researcher at SmoothTeam. In addition to her research work, she works as a solution-oriented work coach (STOry), walking alongside different work communities. There is a clear thread running through Eija's diverse work: in all roles, the aim is to contribute to making Finnish working life sustainable and humane.
Before her career as a researcher, Eija founded Bravo, an important fashion house in her field, where she served as CEO for 7 years. Through these, she has gained a practical insight into the workings and phenomena of work communities.
Eija has a Master's degree in Education from the University of Tampere, where she also works as a researcher Professional growth and learning -research group. Whenever she has time for other research, she contributes to her doctoral thesis on learning in the workplace..
