An entrepreneurial team
What if the team were entrepreneurial? What things would change and what would receive more attention? A simulation based on the book by Risto Siilasmaa will introduce the topic.
Working or trying?
What is the need? This simulation will develop your team's entrepreneurial mindset and practices. It will help you to identify what entrepreneurship means in practice and bring new perspectives and courage to your team. The simulation is suitable for a team that wants to become more entrepreneurial and reflect together on what this means in practice in the day-to-day life of the team.
Why does it work? The simulation highlights the key elements of entrepreneurship, such as recognition of facts, the thirst for learning, taking responsibility and strategic thinking. Based on the book by Risto Siilasmaa, the simulation deepens understanding and provides an activating experience of entrepreneurship, regardless of the team's prior knowledge.
What about in practice? In the simulation's backstory, a team is faced with making strategic choices for a successful international company in difficult times. They face business challenges where their entrepreneurial side comes to the fore, and you learn to keep focus and ask questions such as "why" in the right situations.
STATEMENT 2: ASK WHY
Who among you asks "why", not just "what"?
CLAIM 3: RECOGNITION OF THE FACTS
Who among you is characterised by bringing even bad news into the debate?
CLAIM 4: PERSEVERANCE
Who among you perseveres in the face of adversity?
STATEMENT 5: ACCEPTANCE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Who among you cares about a company as their own and shows it in their actions?
