ImproveIT Solutions is a Ukrainian company. We provide software development services mainly for European and US clients. The company was founded in 2017 and now we have almost 100 employees.

Most of our employees work remotely, but we also have two offices in Ukraine. Our employees can choose whether they want to work from home or from the office.

Neither COVID-19 nor the war stopped production

Even before the koruna, teleworking was one of our competitive advantages. But the pandemic has made it easier for us to hire people from all over Ukraine, so we have been able to expand a lot.

Because of the war, we had to evacuate some of our employees. A few were also mobilised or volunteered. Otherwise, our production has been uninterrupted, and motivation and spirit are high. And all our customers have been very supportive.

Good teamwork requires communication

Most of our teams are fairly independent, and we are always looking for new ways to improve collaboration between them. Good teamwork requires communication and the creation of good practices for it.

As our management team was not very close to each other before, we decided to try the Team at Work simulation. Our aim was to have fun and learn something new about each other.

SmoothTeam was fun and useful

The experience exceeded all our expectations. Some participants feared that the simulation would be boring, but everyone found it really entertaining. The simulation was something new and unexpected, fun but also useful.

We got to know each other's personalities and hobbies and shared lots of personal stories. Now that we have a common understanding of who we are and what we like, we can use these insights to organise team events in the future, for example.
