SmoothTeam simulations are an excellent way to develop your team and improve its performance. We recently added an Ideas button to our service, which makes it easy to record development suggestions and ideas during a simulation.
The new Development Plan feature helps the team to prioritise the development ideas that emerged during the simulation, schedule their implementation and hold team members accountable for their execution.
Use of the development plan
Using the development plan is easy and simple. At the end of the simulation, there is a new Development Plan section in the report, which the game leader can activate for the participants if they wish.
The development tool works in three stages:
- AUDIO: First, the team prioritises the topics covered in the simulation. This is done through a simple voting process, during which players also see the ideas written during the simulation for each topic. Finally, the game leader closes the vote and moves on to the next step.
- TREATMENT OF TOPICS: The service ranks the topics voted as the most important at the top. When a topic is discussed, it is based on the ideas written during the simulation. All players and the game manager can also post new ideas. These will be assigned and scheduled. Once a topic has been discussed, the game master moves the discussion to the next topic.
- CLOSURE: The team can still go over the decisions taken and modify them if they wish.
Participants will be able to return to the development plan later via the report link sent by email.
Before the simulation, game leaders can get to know the functionality in more detail by creating a training simulation to see how the Development Plan is used.
