Aleksis Nokso-Koivisto

Managing Director

Aleksis is the CEO of SmoothTeam and writes about team dynamics, interaction and building productive teams. Aleksis has more than 15 years of experience as a TJ and has developed work communities and teamwork as a consultant at Ensto, Solita, Vinciti and Mica, among others. 

Before SmoothTeam, Aleksis founded Tussitaikurit Oy, Finland's leading animated video communications company, and video communications agency Videotiiviste Oy. He has been involved in several start-ups as a board member, advisor and investor. He has been featured in Yle, Talouselämä, Tietoviikko, Aamulehti and other publications. Aleksiks holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Helsinki, where he also minored in Education. He has also studied at Aalto University, where he studied, among other things, information technology and the Aalto Ventures Programme. She has also studied interaction at the Theatre Academy (open university) and at the Ecole Philippe Gaulier.

Eija Lehtonen

Lead Facilitator, Lead Researcher

Eija Lehtonen is a researcher at the University of Tampere and works as a lead facilitator, simulation developer and researcher at SmoothTeam. Her areas of expertise include workplace learning, multisite work and its management, and work and well-being related topics. Research publications include the following articles and reports:

In addition to her research work, she works as a solution-oriented work coach (STOry), walking alongside different work communities. There is a clear thread running through Eija's diverse work: in all roles, the aim is to contribute to making Finnish working life sustainable and humane.

Prior to her research career, Eija has founded Bravo, an important fashion house in her field, where she was the CEO for 7 years... Through these she has gained practical insight into the functioning and phenomena of work communities. 

Eija holds a Master's degree in Education from the University of Tampere, where she is currently working on her PhD thesis on the topic and is a member of the research group Professional growth and learning.
