Effective hybrid work—what does research tell us about leadership, learning, and collaboration?
A tension is evident in the public debate: employers want people back in the office in the name of learning, collaboration, and brainstorming, while employees are holding on to the flexibility they have gained.
Headlines are calling for a return to the office:
“The CEO completely banned remote work.” “Remote work took power away from the bosses.” “Is the time for remote work coming to an end?”
Remote work, a hybrid model, or a stronger focus on in-office work—how should work actually be organized and managed to ensure that collaboration, learning, and well-being are achieved?
Let’s set aside our gut feelings and turn to the research! We invite HR professionals and managers to join us for a timely webinar:
Date and time: June 12, 8:30–9:30 a.m.
Guest expert: Eija Lehtonen, a researcher in the field of working life
We are delighted to welcome Eija Lehto, a researcher in working life at the University of Tampere, as our guest expert. Eija examines phenomena in modern working life through the lens of a researcher, while remaining closely connected to the day-to-day realities of organizations. As a facilitator, trainer, and work coach at Smoothteam, she works with various teams, supervisors, and work communities on practical development.
Eija brings to the discussion a research-based yet practical perspective on how to manage multi-location work, how to foster collaboration in hybrid environments, and what kinds of practices support learning, interaction, and the effectiveness of work communities in an evolving workplace.
At the event, Eija will introduce the topic based on the latest research findings, after which we will explore the theme further through an interview and your questions.
